Job Description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced sales manager with experience of life science; a distributor of lab equipment for the pharmaceutical and life science sectors is looking for a Sales Director to manage their sales team based in Sussex.

Job Specification:

As a home based role the success candidate can be located anywhere with access to Sussex.

Responsibilities:

- To play a significant role in developing the sales strategy for the sales team
- Develop and manage members of the sales team
- To be involved in setting budgets, targets etc
- To be involved in marketing strategies as necessary
- To be available for travel as necessary
- To develop business and hit objectives for the companies overall goals

The ideal candidate will have:

- Experience of managing a team of external sales professionals
- Experience of selling into major pharmaceutical, medical research, health organisations
- Knowledge of bench top products (desirable, not essential)
- Excellent communications skills
- Motivation
- Excellent leadership ability

This excellent opportunity is offering a salary of £50,000 plus benefits.
