Job Description
LOCATION: FLEXIBLE – THIS IS A TRAVELING POSITION AND CAN BE BASED ANYWHERE IN THE U.S.
The Technical Training Specialist/Educational Specialist is the training link to customers and customer support staff. They provide technical and competitive information to the organization.
Other responsibilities include: (Other duties may be assigned)
qConduct large group training seminars.
qProvide in-office training to individual customers who have been identified for this purpose.
qAssist in training Siemens internal staff.
qProvide input to supervisor on additional training needs and materials for Siemens Hearing Instruments.
qAssist in collection of competitive data.
Job Requirements:
qManagement of external trainer group (consultants).
qAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
qAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
qAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
qAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
qAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Education:
qMaster’s degree (M. A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
qAchieve the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) in Audiology or is licensed to practice Audiology.
