Job Description:

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in a discipline related to the teaching assignment or completion of 9 graduate semester hours in developmental education at a regionally accredited institution

Flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends at multiple campuses.

Preferred Qualifications:
One year in class teaching experience

Responsibilities of the Position:
Instructors for Central Piedmont Community College will be expected to:
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the field or discipline; stay current in subject matter through professional development, involvement in professional organizations, and attending professional meetings, conference or workshops.
• Plan and organize instruction in ways that maximize student learning; employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies to communicate subject matter to students including strategies to meet diverse students’ needs.
