Job Description: Editing/ proofreading of translated and written texts. Successful candidate will provide their services from home and will be called upon anytime there is a project akin to their credentials. Please, do note that applicants will take on an English or French editing test prior to being contracted.

Volume and Pricing:

 Depending on the size of the project, editors must be able to edit/ proofread at least 5, 000 words of a translated text and written contents in the language of their work on daily basis.

 Editors or Proofreaders will receive:

i- for written contents –$0.15 per 160 characters –included spaces and punctuation, and

ii- for proofreading of translated texts -$0.04 per source word.

 Payment method: MoneyBookers or Bank account

 Payment will be made end of each month after editor had made their invoice available regarding the services they provided within that particular month.

 Required native language: French or English

 Subject area: Medical, Business, Legal, Media, Literature, IT

 Timeline: Editors should be able to work under pressure. All projects should be completed within a period of 4 and 72 hours.

 Preferred location: Africa mainly, but worldwide applicants acceptable if they possess a MoneyBookers account.

Additional Requirements:

- Access at home to high speed Internet connection –cable/ DSL/T1 – valid email, PC, Skype ID or any other IMS ID.

- Knowledgeable of using any editing software

- Previous experience in editing/ proofreading of translated files and written contents

- Editors/ Proofreaders must be able to manage at least 5, 000 words of translated or written content on daily basis
