Job Description:

Little Passports (www.littlepassports.com) is looking for an aspiring online marketer to help with all marketing efforts. This is an internship with a stipend for someone who would like to gain great learning experience working at an early-stage angel-backed startup. We can provide flexible hours and partial telecommuting.

Hands-on Learning:

* Drive website traffic by engaging social media (twitter, facebook, blog)

* Write content for blog, customer emails and online graphics

* Research potential marketing partnerships

* Research SEO, make recommendations and execute on SEO plan

* Interface with affiliates, partners and national media including moms blogs and magazines

* Maintain spreadsheets of marketing activities and timelines and perform basic reporting

* Perform administrative functions such as faxing and copying

Requirements:

* Belief that the world would be a better place if we all had thicker passports

* \”Can do attitude\” including strong work ethic and positive attitude

* Passion for online marketing, children\’s products and international issues

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Ability to work independently or in a team setting

* Familiarity with social media, SEO and affiliate programs a plus but not required

* HTML and/or web design a plus but not required
