Job Description:
The Executive Art Director is responsible for developing and executing creative concepts in the production of client strategy. The Executive Art Director will manage and supervise a team of Graphic Designers, leading them to on-time completion of projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have strong management skills and substantial prior design experience with strong visual appeal for web platforms.
You will work with the designers, copywriters and web development teams on multiple projects concurrently. Your responsibilities will include leadership of overall design quality and concepts, and building and maintaining a team of strong graphic designers which optimizes creative output while meeting tight deadlines. You must have superior artistic skills and background. You must have strong teambuilding skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate with other business units and executive management.
Core duties and responsibilities include:
* Provide direction and leadership to design team,
* The supervision and coaching of a team of Graphic Designers to develop concepts into art layouts.
* Execute Web design and Flash presentations
* Design a variety of collateral materials.
* Perform hands-on production and execution of your design solutions.
Job Requirements:
Experience and qualification requirements:
* Minimum of 10 years experience with a degree or equivalent in graphics.
* Expert working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 2 including: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator. Dreamweaver and FLASH.
* Very strong creative concept, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to complete designs within guidelines, on time.
* Excellent writing/verbal communication and time management skills.
* Ability to work in a pressured and constantly changing environment
