A client of mine is looking for a strong BMC Patrol resource (primary required skill is BMC Performance Manager). Please review the job description below. The position can either be on-site in Oak Brook, IL or working remotely from anywhere in the US. Key Skills: BMC Performance Manager (BPM)
6 month engagement. The consultant would be working on the BMC tools listed below as an administrator as well as assisting or performing engineering duties such as tool configuration and deployments.
The main application (strong experience required) is BMC Performance Manager (BPM) using both agent and agent-less configurations.
We also are using the following and experience in these would be extremely beneficial (listed in priority order):
* BMC Transaction Manager * Application Response Timer (TM-ART)
* Business Objects / Crystal Reports 11
* BMC Performance Manager for Databases (MS SQL / Sybase / Oracle)
* BMC Event Manager (BEM)
- Experience importing SNMP
- Experience with rule development
* BMC Capacity Management Essentials (CME)
* HP OpenView Performance Insight (OVPI)
* HP Network Node Manager (NNM)
* HP Operations Manager for Unix (OMU / OVO)
* BMC Performance Manager for Mail (Exchange KM)
* BMC Service Reporting (SR)
* BMC Patrol 3
* BMC Patrol 7
* BMC Performance Assurance / Perform-Predict (BPA / PPP / Best1)
The OS types to be monitored include Windows, HP-UX, Solaris, AIX, Linux and AS-400.
