Job Description:
Recognize Designs is a new graphic design company located in Baton Rouge, LA. We hope to launch before November 2010. We looking for freelance web designers/developers for upcoming projects. We are searching for energetic and motivated people to work from home. Chosen applicants will be given direction under the guidance of the Creative Director. Work will be assigned on an as-needed basis. This is a great opportunity to build your portfolio.
Compensation is negotiated based on experience.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
* Bachelor\’s or Master\’s Degree in Computer Science or Graphic Arts or minimum of 2 years experience
* Knowledge of database design
* A variety of samples that show a diverse background
* Organizational skills and attention to detail are an absolute must
* Ability to work under the supervision the Creative Director
* Familiarity with Database Management
* Strong knowledge of Content Management Systems like WordPress
* Strong typing, spelling and grammar skills
* Knowledge of current Adobe Creative Suite
* Ability to design a site that will work on most operating systems
* Strong knowlesge in HTML, CSS, JS, PHP, and SQL
* Effective time management and respect for deadlines
* Ability to work independently
